Hi

Villain is tight

[Ah] [Jc]

I raise in late positon to 2 dollars

SB calls

flop (4.50)
[Kh] [Qc] [Ts]

Villain checks

I check to cover my nuts (not clever?)

Turn (4.50)
[Td]
Villain checks
I check again, wanting to see him call a potsized bet on river, maybe see a lead from him.

What is your line here? (of course I should have raised... where and how much?)

If you had AK or AQ and this flop hit, would you have bet the flop?

I CB against a single opponent nearly 100% of the time. I'd do the same here. $3-$3.50.

I'd bet 2/3-3/4 pot on turn and probably 1/2-2/3 pot on the river if he's still in and checked a third time.

Bet the flop, build the pot.

Edit: you also suggest Villan is tight, leading me to think he has a hand range for calling your raise of any pocket pair, or jt+, so even more reason to bet the flop.

I've been outdrawn so many times, and floored by a boat!
