I get [8d][7d] otb. MP raises to $4, I'm the only caller. Haven't noticed anything unusual about him. He has $120 and I cover. This is Bodog which means he's likely pretty bad.

Pot $9.50. Flop [9s][9h][6h]. He bets $9, I call.

Pot $27.50. Turn [3d]. He bets $15, I think for a few seconds and raise to $45.

I like it not too often, against the right opponent...and if this guy is cautious and can lay down a hand. Otherwise spewing...if he calls the turn raise, do you follow up on the river assuming you don't hit your straight?

Againsy an unknown I would fold, against a regular (TAG, LAG) I would raise flop and bluff a heart. Personally I like to raise my good hands, good draws and some bluffs on flop, continuing on turn, so that on the river I can put my opponents all-in without overbetting.

It's hard to give an advice concerning moves, the way you played it could be good for your style, if properly balanced. Though IMO flop raise with turn continuation is a better play.
