Plasma's also use much more power - so have higher runnings costs and are worse for the environment....

Southern Electric I think - to be even more open to abuse from my American - 'God put resources on the Earth so we can use em up as fast as possible' friends they even plant enough trees to offset the carbon released by the gas I use..

Samsung, LG, or Sony.... Westinghouse isnt bad either.
Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

If you're going to play a Wii on your new TV then you should probably read up on HDTV video game lag. I have some links on my other computer but won't be able to get to it for quite some time, so just google. The best option is to bring your system to the store and plug it into a bunch of TVs and see which one has the least noticable lag. Samsungs DNIE engine causes a lot of problems with lag due to the processing time it takes to upgrade the picture, but the newer models have a game mode which turns it off so you should be fine. I've heard Sony is generally pretty good about having the least video game lag, but I don't really have any hard evidence or experience to back it up.
