$100NL 6-max @ Tribeca

i have been positively destroying these games the past 2 weeks. so in general im a little more willing to bet/raise/call. anyway. i raise in CO to $5 with red 9's. never seen him before....doesnt stand out at the table which means he's loose/passive and generally bets too small. he has $80 and i cover with $225.

flop: [Ts][Tc][8s]
pot: $11

he checks, i bet $9. he calls.

turn: [Qc]
pot: $29

check/check

river: [Kd]
pot: still $29

he waits about 7 seconds and bets $10. easy call getting 4-1? easy fold cause of the board? anyone play any previous street differently?

I've seen quite a few times donkies with this kind of small bets on river with small pairs . But as you have no read, it's really tough to decide. I would probably fold a number of times and call others.

If he is passive, he may have something. A8 is my hand candidate #1 but you are behind all others. Its a marginal fold.

If you fold, he may think you are a passive player like him and start to play a lot of pots with you .
