Maybe get better at math?

Ok, now I really mean this with all due respect--

DO YOU THINK I HAVEN'T TRIED TO GET BETTER AT MATH IN 50 YRS???

Seriously, man, I'm not bs'ing ya. I am completely incompetent. My brain just isn't wired to doing math. I'm a creative type. I use words. I'm whichever-side oriented which is the other side of the brain that calculates equations. Put a set of numbers in front of me and my mind will wander off before I get to the last one.

Think Rainman.

Think the opposite.

That's me.

3% of the population is left-handed. An enormous percentage of left-handed people are successful, compared to the percentage of right-handed. (If you don't believe this, watch TV and see how many famous people are left handed. It's weird, once you start noticing it.) Correlation? Maybe.

I was just curious as to whether a short attention span and lack of math ability are connected. People without math skills tend to think in abstract concepts.

There are a lot of reasons to lose interest in what you're doing, but personally I don't find that maths is one of them.

In high school i took the ACT instead of the SAT.

for english and writing i was in the 99 percentile

math i was in the 14th percentile.

in the sub categories i specfically remember getting a 0 in trig.

i laughed when i saw the scores, but wasn't surprised.
