Old political quiz

Postby k3nt » Thu Jan 04, 2007 4:27 pm

This is old, but it's not terrible. It gives you a score between 0 (100% liberal) and 40 (100% conservative).

Some of the questions I have a hard time answering one way or the other. (Frankly, I don't trust either professional athletes or team owners.) Depending on where I come down on those questions (I checked both sides at different times to see what happened), I get between a 15 and a 19. A bit left of center, but not far.

I think 20 years ago I would have gotten about a 5.

Take it if you're interested, and post results....

I wonder how our European members will score, and if the test will even make sense to them.

EDIT: OOOPS, forgot the link. Sheesh. Here it is.

"Which do you trust more, the CIA or the Peace Corps?" WTF sort of question is that? Everyone knows the Peace Corps was a front for the CIA.

Oh this is great. Just ticking a box labelled "Eliminate farm subsidies" is giving me a warm glow already!

Does anyone seriously think RR was a better pres than FDR? Seriously?

I'm officially a dangerously subversive commie pinko: 12

Nice thread Kent. It shows how different the US and European political scales are. I suspect on a Euro scale I'd be more like 16-20.

Some of the questions are impossible to answer with a yes/no, but I did my best.

Kowboy

If I ain't sinkin', well I must be swimin' If I ain't dead, I must be livin' Livin' is the thing, that scares me the most And if I ain't sleepin', well I better be fishin' If I ain't anchored I will be driftin' But all and all, I'm doing pretty good, since I hit my third coast!
