Well I did have the nuts.

This guy was new. he was sitting at 9/0 but with only 33 hands. The turn check-raise scared the shittake out of me.

Multiway Pot. I limp on the button with [Qh][Ts]

FLOP
[Kh][Jh][9d]

CHecked to opponent in CO he leads for 12.. I raise to 36 which he calls after a slight delay.

TURN
[Kh][Jh][9d] [Js]

He checks. I bet $80. He min-check raises to $160.

He has a little over $200 left behind.

Thoughts?

eh.....i think you might want to let this one go. sucks to fold the straight i know.

but really.....if he's competent, he's not CR'ing the turn with less than QT. KJ, J9, 99 all make sense. KK/JJ probably not...but assume a small % chance.

is he loose enough to be in here with QJ or JT? pair + gutshot on the flop? i think those are the only other hands he might play like this.

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
