My PT stats 6max

Postby KeLLoGsX » Wed Jan 03, 2007 1:16 am

I thought I would post my stats here every 5k hands. Hopefully you will have a look and give me some feedback as to where I can improve my play based on these stats. I recently changed from fullring to NL25 6max at Cryptologic and this is my first 5000 hands played. I have settled on playing two tables since I can't handle more and less gives too little action.

play position more. your VP$IP doesnt ramp up like it should as you get nearer the button.

though i'd guess at NL$25 it doesnt matter much anyway.

You're too loose UTG and UTG+1, and too tight in CO and OTB (another way to put ua's comments)

Ok, in OTB and CO should I limp along more with raised pots and raise more often in unraised pots with more marginal hands? In that case I guess I have to play more aggressive postflop when in position. I can also see I probably shouldn't limp in SB that often.

Your sample is still pretty small (though it was a good idea to get your stats checked over here anyway), evidenced by being in profit from BB. You can probably continue to win handsomely at 25NL playing as you are, but if you have ambitions of moving up you'll need to refine your game a bit.

What's already been said about position is reinforced by your attempted to steal blinds % being so low. Get this over 30% by raising whenever it's folded to you OTB preflop.

Also, your flop aggression seems pretty low. At 65% you're CBing often enough, and your W$WSF at 38% is very good so you're not calling too many flops. If you tighten up a lot from UTG and UTG+1 and see more flops from OTB, then you'll find yourself in a position where you can steal a lot of small pots when a flop containing one paint card is limped around to you. That should sort out your flop aggression and VPIP from OTB.

Remember that the key is to put the majority of your money in (pre and post flop) with position.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.
