Happy New Year--Welcome to 2007

Postby Cactus Jack » Sun Dec 31, 2006 7:44 pm

Is it possible we're starting the 6th year after the Millenium?

I'm one of those who refused to acknowledge 2000 as the beginning of the new millenium. I celebrated on 1/1/2001.

What a difference a year has made in my life. A year ago, I was living in Florida in near abject poverty in a FEMA trailer with an insane woman. Life was heading toward a dead end.

This year's end finds me in Vegas, with a new love, a new home, a decent job and can play poker anytime I want without staring at a computer screen.

Dreams can come true.

I wish you all as much for the next year. If not the next, then hang in there, 'cause you can make it happen if you go...

Best wishes, BTP'ers.

Happy New Year.

Hopefully this year will be better than the last one........oh, no, wait........I got a phone call at 5:30 am that my sister was hit by a drunk and had her truck totalled. Well, there goes that idea. Great start, but at least she is ok.
