I completely see your reasoning and this argument has been hashed out here and many other places before. It's just my personal opinion that their software lets the large stacks win a little more than the math says they should. I've played a lot of tournaments (not enough to be statistically relevant for the purposes of in depth analysis) and thats what I've seen. I've benefited from it when I am the big stack and it's hurt me when I'm shorty. Other people whom I trust have noticed the same thing. I guess in this case I believe n ghosts

So whats the smallest sample size that you would consider statistically relevant?
I am not a math person, but would be interested to know if 400k tests is enough.
