Well, you start getting halo's around lights at night. Before, with glasses, I really didn't have an issue at night, but now, especially now (caveat: this could be just that I need correction in general, but there was a little of it at first), especially at dusk when the sky is still lit but the ground is dark, I have a very hard time seeing details that I didn't before. Being a Paramedic, it is nearly impossible for me to see addresses during the twililght hours.
Don't get me wrong, the surgery was WAY +EV. yes, there are some drawbacks, but for the most part, I am very very happy with it.
I can wear sunglasses that don't require a script (Contacts just never agreed with me that well, especially when one of them ended up on the BACKSIDE of my eyeball).
And if you have been a glasses wearer, you will walk around for the first 4 weeks or so poking yourself in the nose trying to push the non-existent glasses back up.
