Nice link, thanks!!

I don't think "clever" does this animal justice. If this is legit, it may shake up some very long-held theories about the extent of human superiority to animals in terms of mental abilities. Stuff like this may have some real importance to people studying philosophical and religious ethics (like I used to do).

Having owned an African Grey as well as a macaw and 2 cockatoos, I can attest to their intelligence. The Grey is an absolutely amazing animal who has almost human intellect. They have a sense of humor, as well as other emotions--many times displaying the range of a 3 year old. They can put together words in cognitive thought. I've seen her do it.

Anyone who thinks birdbrain means stupid, has never lived with a true bird brain.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
