Both hands occurred at the same full table and had similar preflop action, which is why I put them in one post. Table plays loose & wild, with big pots and silly hands at showdown.

Hand 1): I get TT in MP, there is a minimum raise up front and I make it $8. Only the BB calls. He has close to a full stack, and is playing very loose (sees about 40% of flops, calls a lot of raises). He hasn't really shown down hands though..
I've been playing very tight, not getting many hands. I haven't shown down a hand, just picked up a few small pots with CBets.

Flop: [Ks][Td]. BB checks, I bet $12, BB checkraises the minimum??
What do you put him on? What does he put me on? Suppose I would 3 bet allin here, what range can he call me with?

I went with my gut feeling this time - I thought he'd raise more with a higher set and would not play a straight this suspiciously, and I put him in. He called with AK, but dragged a K on the turn (well, that's how I run ).

Hand 2) I get TT in MP again. UTG minraises (same player, has been steadily losing since previous hand). One caller, I make it $8 again, UTG and UTG+1 call. Flop: [9h][4c]. Checked to me, pot= $25, UTG has $55 left, UTG+1 has full stack. I chose to check behind here, since I really don't have a clue what they have and can't stand a lot of heat here.
Turn: . Checked to me again. Now I've picked up the straight and decide to bet $20. UTG instantly checkraises allin, UTG+1 folds. It's $35 to call in a $80 pot.

Thoughts? Results in white:

I really couldn't think of a hand with which his line would make any sense. I played my hand like a whiffed AK, so I felt it wouldn't be unlikely that he would try to (semi-)bluffraise me here. I called, but opponent showed QQ. Anyone make the correct read here?

Ok the consensus seems to be that hand 2 I should have checked on the turn. Do you think I should check behind because

1) I'm likely behind and don't want to invest money unless I hit my straight on the river? If you think this, what hand(s) am I behind to that my opponents would play this way? I can see a whiffed checkraise on the flop, but on the turn with all these draws what hands that beat me check again?

2) Or do you think I'm probably ahead but should check behind for pot control? In this case, aren't you worried about giving a free card to a spade draw or to overcards?

3) Or because it is too likely to induce bluffraises and my hand doesn't warrant playing a big pot with?

Anyway, if you check behind on the turn then what's the river plan if the river bricks and UTG bets 2/3 pot? What if the river brings an A,K,Q and UTG bets? Spade?

I like the turn bet and I think you're ahead a good % of the time to make a call correct. That being said, I like a flop bet here. You probably have the best hand so you need to protect it from a Q, K or A on the turn.

Hand #1 is a definite shove.
