Against a good player, in my opinion, once he calls the turn he is calling alomst any bet on the river. My reasoning for this is I can't imagine any hand that he would call that turn with and still need help in order to win on the river.
edit: maybe he calls the turn with A K[h] I guess

AA, 55, AK, lots of flush hands.
AA gets all-in.
55 really should get all-in. (I know he said he wished he mucked to your overbet push, but that is a very different thing than pushing over a value bet.)
AK probably isn't calling any bet.
A TAG holding a flush will much more likely call a value bet than a push.
Seems like you're being results-oriented here.

do you know who the villain is?
do you think pushing here has a lower EV than a simple value bet give his probably hand range.
i'm trying not to be results oriented here, i want to make sure i didnt donk bet and cost myself some idiotsklansky bucks in the long run dude.
