I know very little. My Toshiba now runs slow. The computer store said they could re-format it and speed it up. Whatever you buy, get a three year warranty. My Toshiba went down twice due to a leaking ceiling. Both times the warranty got it going for no charge.

the card should not eat up your system memory.

it is only onboard graphics that does that. 128 should be fine. i think that is what my card has.
