This is i like the first post that im making in LC..ive seen it all, quads over quads, nut boat with KKK44 vs str8 flush, but this hand made me laugh..this is the most ridiculous beat i had in past 100,000 K hands i guess

basically past few hands ive been really aggresive(im playing under new SN so old fish/regulars dont realize its me, at least for now )
ive floped like 3 str8 in last 5 hands on this table and was waiting for a chance to get played back at

so whole table folds, OTB who is wannabe lag fish limps, sb completes and i check in bb with amazing

flop comes ..woohoo another str8, pot is 3$ and i bet 2$..OTB miniraises to 4$..i raise him back to 12$..he calls
turn is completing the rainbow..so far so good, i bet 20$ into 27$ pot and villian thinks for a while and calls
river is and i figure since villain called this so far he should have a decent hand, hopefully AK AT or AQ
flop is 67$ and i push for 72$, villian calls and turns over
this hand would standard bad beat if i pushed earlier but i found if funny how well his hand was disguised
it never crossed my mind he could have a str8 here..if a 2 or 7 fell on river(if he has 56) i would slow down but this left me completely puzzled

This isnt really horrible bad beat but these can be so much more frustrating. You put a good read on villian that he is on a flush draw and are correct, so he is pretty much drawing to runner runner in order to stack you. I have had this happen to me a couple times where I was 100% sure I was against a flush draw after the flop. After a turn and river like this you think he may prolly has [10s]. You have outplayed this guy the whole way, he is 18% to hit is flush draw on each card, he isnt getting pot odds and there is 0 implied odds because the flush card comes off and you arent putting in another dollar.

yea an empty feeling when that happens
