Okay so info on the villian he is 35/22/4 over like 100 hands. We got into a confrontation earlier when he raised it up and I repopped it up to 30 with AKo. I bet the pot on a flop of king high and then he folded to a turn push. So I probably look pretty agro. I am pretty sure everything about this hand is stock? But maybe I am wrong. I had villian covered on the hand.

On a side note if villian had one of the 3 available sets and flipped it over after my flop bet would a call of his push still be correct?

Your 2nd question is merely an odds question. If he hit any set then you have 9 flush outs and 2 A outs for 11 outs twice which is about 44%. The pot is 52+53+53+(161-53) = 266, you have to call 108 into 266 which is giving you 40.6% pot odds...you have odds to call.

Thanks for the math reply black knight. I am still a little confused with the 40% pot odds though, isn't 108 into 266 less than 3-1. I guess I don't see how you get to 40% number. At what point would a call be incorrect? Is it whenever that number goes above 44%? This might be sad that I don't already understand this.

And all you math is based on villain having a set.
He could have Kx, in which case you are a huge favorite.

So taking that probability into the equation makes a call even easier.

Read Harrington's Volume 1 for a great explanation of calculating equity based on hand ranges of villian.

You get 40% by dividing the amount u have to call by the size of the pot: 106/266 = 40%. The card odds are giving you 44%, so you should call. You're having to pay 40% on a 44% shot...that's +EV, so call. Pot odds>Card odds = CALL. Card odds>Pot odds = fold.
