Check out this stat I just saw on the 49er's.
In their 5 wins they have had exactly 1 TO in each game and have forced 1,5,3,4,5 for a total of 15 forces or +10.
In there 5 losses they have had 2 or more TO's in each game for a total of 15 and have forced only 2 TO's total for -13.

That's a pretty amazing difference

MTPAID- so your saying the giants are in yankee status with the giants rule, you suck type of thing: i have to say i have never seen anything like this, but i wont disagree being that most yankee fans are giant fans and thats how the yankees are to no end. I really havent seen this though in any of my experiences as a giant fan. i also forgot your a met fan, and i guess its weird im a mets and giants fan, 2 diff realms in ny. Its also interesting ive had a few jet fans give me shit about how they were gonna beat the bears and be the real ny team and talking all this shit like a yankee fan would. yet i think they are evenly matched now with giants injuries, if they had a heads up match right now it would be a good game i think, if giants have all their guns- its no brainer giants- but thats my thought on it

with the ugly wins you were talking about, i guess it all depends on who you are with the style of win, i kind of enjoy the ugly, defensive oriented, grind it out win over the great offensive win. defense wins superbowls, hence colts choking every year, pats, steelers, ravens winning the last few years.........everyone likes there own style i guess, but i prefer the ugly, gutty win, i enjoyed all of those games they won like that, it reminds me of the old knicks/heat rivalry. All defense, gritty, hard play with 71-69 final scores............those were the best.

SEB- i still disagree being the bears have 282 pts scored and cowboys 271, cowboys have given up 188 and bears given up 120...........i think those numbers speak for itself.........offenses close to even, and bears defense quite a few steps up from dallas...........granted dallas does have a good defense, not as close as you think though

Oakley. That guy was fun to watch. He controlled his area for a time there; authoratative!

MT, turnovers bad. Best teams in the world can't overcome a ton of turnovers. It even caught up to the Bears finally in the their game against Miami. I'm pretty sure if you look at all the teams in the NFL(just guessing), and found their won/loss record in games where they had a +2 turnover margin, the winning percentage would be very, very high. Although, rooting for the Niners is like having a small heart attack because of all the turnovers. That one by Gore last weekend, at the end of the game??? Sickening. I am losing years off my life watching these games.

Ice, knockin' my Niners. I have to remind you now, Pittsburgh lost to the Raiders. That was pretty much the worst thing I could think to say about Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is still my favorite team to bet money on...I'm up $1100 on them. :D
