Have a look at my pokerstats. I seriously need help

Postby Jossnaz » Tue Nov 21, 2006 8:55 am

Hello

I'm playing NL 5$ because I'm not a good poker-player.

Please have a look at my stats.

1) Which stats are not good?
2) In which direction would you change these stats?
3) Which stats are good?

4) Do you need different stats for a better analysis?
5) What kind of tip do you have to play these micro tables? Vol. put money in pot is often like 50+% sometimes even more like 75%. And I wait for my AK, raise preflop, everybody folds and if someone calls I have often flops like A-2-4 rainbow. Now what shall I do if I get a reraise? Fold i guess?

I got my hair highlighted, because I felt some strands were more important that others.

Hello

Yes actually its always 10 persons table. Though I often start on a table with only 5 people on it, but it normally doesnt take long til its full.
I have more hands, but they are on my laptop. And another like 5000 hands... but not on the NL5$ tables but nl 25$.

here the stats

or as textfile

you have to enter 3 letters to download the file. Is a free filehost btw, so if you just wanna upload something without login! you can do it here www.filepot.de it's german but you cant miss it, it's straight forward

thank you

The bad news is that you're playing way too many hands. The good news is that you seem to have a basic grasp of how important position is.

Playing 30% of hands on the button can be OK, if you're good post flop, but playing 23% UTG is a much bigger problem. You need to tighten up overall, but especially in EP. I would suggest only playing pairs and AK/AQ hands in EP.

Your preflop raising seems a bit high, I would suggest cutting down on them a bit. No need to steal blinds, you want to raise for value and to build pots in position.

Post flop you seem to be calling too much on the turn and river. You should try to win at least half of the showdowns. Ask yourself "Will I stand to make money or lose money continuing in this hand here?" on every street, and if you don't know the answer, you're better off FOLDING than CALLING.

On the lower levels you make money by valuebetting and having your opponents call you down with second best hands. You can pretty much remove bluffing from your vocabulary and your profits will go up. Use that to your advantage.

well

read it and shake your heads

I'm a bad player as I said, just couldn't let go of the AK

where would you have let go? As I watch the replay, I have to say that I have to fold on turn. Check and fold i guess.

It is as you analysed, i just "call call call" like a machine not wanting to fold again, against this player.
