Yeah.

I have two handguns, one of which I purchased at a gun show here and one of which I purchased in MI and flew up here with this summer. The MI gun was "safety inspected" by the state of Michigan, but not registered.

I dont have to register either weapon or get a permit to carry either. I will eventually get one, because I want to be able to carry in other states that have receprocity with AK. For example, I will be able to borrow a gun from a buddy in MI and carry it there with a permit.

It's no longer news as it's become so commonplace as to no longer be , the War on Gun Violence has been lost as well. Why don't we declare a war on something we can beat?

Perhaps there shouldn't have been a "war" in the first place...

The closest I have been to a full grown black bear(300+ pounds) was 40 ft.
I was in a car, and felt relatively safe. This was in Wisconsin.

If I were not in a car, I would definitely wish I were carrying a big-bore handgun.

I am almost too old to be wandering in the woods in the rural areas, I cannot run as fast as I used to.

Edit: the place in WI was 500 miles north of where I live now, and next door to MI.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

You don't have to...you just have to outrun your buddy with you. rimshot

And a brown bear can't outrun a 400 grain bullet at 1600 fps or a 200 grain at 2200 fps
