Pot $106. Flop [6d][5h]. Whats the best play here? Im thinking a CRAI is best.

He cold called a raise and reraise so he has to have either a big pair or AK. If he has KK / QQ, theres a good chance Im stacking him no matter what I do. If he has AK, he probably folds to my CB 70% of the time, but if I check, he probably bets most of the time and then I can CRAI.

I might give him a free card if he has [Kd], but in these games people are so aggressive I dont think he'll take the free card anyway. I think he'll pot it with the nut flush draw and hope I fold my AK.

Thoughts?

Since you don't have the I prefer leading out, if you had the I could consider a check/raise but the fact that you don't means that he has Axs, but more importantly you don't have the chance to pick up the nut flush draw on the turn.

Even if you're right and he has KK or QQ he could check behind you and pick up a draw on the turn, or spike a set. The pot is >25bb already, way above your average win rate for AA, so bet and be content if he folds, put it in if he raises and push the turn if he calls.

Im surprised at the responses. I dont think that anyone is checking behind with KK or QQ. Why would they want to let an ace or a flush card fall on the turn. Nope, I think they are betting those hands every time and they would be correct to.

I also dont think they would check behind with a nut flush draw. I know I sure wouldnt. if he bets the flush draw he has 2 ways to win. I might fold and he wins and if I call, he can still hit the flush on the turn (or check behind on the turn).

I did check....and he insta potted it.

He called with [Qd] and he missed.

I think it's a lot easier to make him put the chips in. CRAI just makes your hand more transparent. I'd rather lead. If he has AK, you weren't going to win a big pot anyway.
