Quick background: pretty loose table, Rock is a rock and plays ABC, CS will call with any two cards esp if sooted. He loves the str and flush draws and seriously thinks about calling pot size bets with gutshots.

PF here I just call bc I am hoping to get Rock's money if unders come, basically I am putting him on a high PP. CS calls behind me which I am okay with as long as a A doesn't fall. Button calls so I got 3 people to contend with.

Sure I overbet the pot here, but my reasoning was to get Rock's money in since it was all low. Ends up CS calls so he has a flush draw, I told you he loves the flush.

So I am guessing not many people will like my flop bet. If not, how would you play it?

I really dont like no reraising on the flop, sure if your last to act and its folded to you a smooth call is a decent play, thinking you are hiding the stregnth of your hand, but with players to act behind you, you dont want more callers. Your call is now giving players odds to call with hands you dont want in the hand, small PP and suited connectors. Plus by reraising here you are usually going to gain position by folding the players behind you. You said that you didnt want to lose him if he is playing AK or AQ, if he is playing one of these hands you are very unlikely to get his whole stack anyways unless he is playing AK and you hit the case K and an A. As it is you lost him anyways all you got was his original raise anyways. Last point, maybe I've played to much party poker but with a rock raising from early postion, I really want to know if I have the best hand. By reraising you are going to pretty much know for sure if he has AA especially because the calling station may still call your reraise.

Yeah, agree about the smooth call pre-flop. I personally love the big raise on the flop. You can't just call there and let some small ace suck out on you. And for my money when you have a guy that calls without odds, the bigger mistake you can get him to make, the better. You know he just wants to call all his money away, so provide him with an easy way to do this. If he is gonna call $20 all the way up to $60, make him call $60. In other words, you know his weakness, exploit it in the most profitable way possible.
