They only needed to cover 3 points. At least Indy and the Boys paid off.

Congrads on a great season so far.

All very interesting, but how come it's football but they're all using their hands?

Round these parts that's not considered fair game.

PS And why wear a bunch of padding like a stadium full of pu**ies??? I haven't seen shoulder pads like that since I last saw a re-run of Dynasty. Round here, real men play rugby in skinny shirts and shorts, beat the living shit out of each other chasing a funny shaped football round a muddy field for 80 minutes then get drunk in the pub afterwards and throw up on the way home. Now THATS the true meaning of sport!!!

Preferring American Football personally, how ugly are British rugby players? Broken noses, cauliflower ears etc. Most professional no holds barred fighters don't look like rugby players.

I can't pick against Indy this year. Their offense is so good it makes it look like they're playing a different game than everybody else. I mean, they have fricking Edgerrin James, who is running about as well as he ever has, and they hardly ever have to use him! I agree that the Indy defense is improving, also. If the outdoor playoff games are played in a lot of snow or rain or a strong wind, I would pick Pitt or NE over Indy, but if the day is calm and clear, I see Indy winning.

Too bad the Pack couldn't put up more of a fight against Philly and make the NFC at least a tiny bit interesting.

Even against the Stealers I'd still Parley Indy and the over.

Steelers are 9-3 against the line. Theyve been underestimated all year. Lets see what they do to the Jets this week.

And down falls another playoff team to the mighty Steelers. The 9-3 Jets are now 9-4.
The Steelers offense sorely misses Plaxico Burress. They cant stretch the field without the deep threat which is making it hard for Hines Ward to get open underneath the coverage. When he comes back, look out. They'll probably rest him again this week since they could beat the hapless Giants with ME playing WR.

It will be interesting to see what Indy does against Baltimores defense this week, although its in Indy where they have a nice warm dome with a turf field to play on. The real test for Indys offense comes when they have to go to NE or Pitt and its 23 degrees and windy. Lets not forget that Peyton Manning has choked in every big game hes ever played in all the way back to college.

Peyton Manning this year is clearly MUCH better than he has ever been. Having said that he still hasn't won the big game, but I really do feel like it's gonna happen this year. The Steelers managed to win, but their performance against the Jets wasn't anything to rave about and they got pretty lucky in the first half with some pretty suspect penalty calls against the Jets. I remember a questionable holding call that brought back a 35-yard run as well as a questionable pass interference call, among other things. Regardless, they are in good shape to take home field advantage, which means Indy will likely have to go through them in the AFC CHampionship game in order to get to the Superbowl. I don't think weather and a tough D will be enough to slow that insane offense down all that much. They have a triple threat at the receivers, a great back, a good O-Line, and of course Manning. I actually think they are more liikely to stumble in NE seeing as to how NE has Indy's number, but we'll have to see what happens.
