I open to $7 on the button with [8d]. SB calls. I have about 150 hands with him and he seemed to be decent this morning, but maybe hes tilting now (or maybe he sucks) because he just raised with A5s, got a call, then got reraised to $31 and he called then played for his stack with a Axx flop. He also just chased a gutshot on a paired boad and hit it and lost a big pot....then he lost top 2 pair to an obvious rivered flush draw and paid it off big time. Hes 40 / 23 though.

Pot $16 Flop [Jd][7h]. he checks, I bet $12 and he calls
Pot $40. Turn . Check/check. Anyone bet here? I was afraid he had a J and would check raise me off my hand
Pot $40. River . He bets $25. I cant decide if I should just call or not so I min raise to $50 and he reraises to $135. UGH!

the issue here is that against most casual players, they will take the same line with J-x that they would with a boat.

since he's 40/23 and potentially tilting, i think you have to call this. he's loose enough to have any jack here, and if your read is right, he's also tilty enough to occasionally have something worse than trips.

also i think you should never just call his river bet. the minraise is kinda cute, too....but only if you're intending to call a push.

I think with those stats and your read this is an easy call. He probably has just slowplayed a Jack to death here. I can't believe he thinks he is beat with any Jx hand here, so I'm making this call pretty quickly.
