I didn't think the Cards were supposed to be underdogs that much.

I think Cincinnati over Oakland back in 1990 (?) was a much bigger shock.

and about your pujols thing, waste playing first base? where else would he play, maybe 3rd where he started...........but i cant see him playing at any other position, he is was to slow and big to move, yes he is getting better at first range wise and all, but i still dont think he has great range at all. ive never seen him make any great great plays, yes some good ones, but nothing out of the ordinary. He belongs at first for how big he is and sluggish runner and where he will always be a decent defender, but not special.
