Villian in question had a VPIP of 40 and was the type of player who would bet if checked to almost always, and if he caught a piece of the board played aggressively. Normally I'd pop the turn however I was going for the maximum extraction here and thought it might scare him off if he had mid or bottom pair which he would bet often and if he had trips I'd score on the river.
