broken link

this one?
http://today.reuters.com/news/articlein ... &type=qcna

also I assume fire one owns firepay? (I double checked they do)

which is funny because there is a "poker player alliance" link on the firepay main page

that is sad if it is true because I love firepay and think Netteller is crap.

bummer

The fact that Firepay is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange doesn't help, especially since the Frist bill seems centred on the financial transaction mechanism rather than the user or gambling host.

so yeah

I always used firepay and lets just say I just fired off an email to Pokerstars about this. I am extremely concerned about my ability to withdraw money from Stars at this point.

not sure what I should do now, huge bummer.

I am fairly confident of being able to play but it would be nice to actually get some money out of stars at some point after this, something the US government is making extremely difficult
what a joke

ha

I emailed Stars and got the standard "blow off" email regarding the bill

the didn't even address the issue with fireone/firepay or my question about withdrawing money

what BS

If you can deal with the 80% idiocy rate at 2+2 there's a thread about it there that might contain some more info.

Stars should be able to mail you a check if I remember correctly.
