This happens to me sometimes and all I have to do is cycle the router and modem. I turn them both off for a couple minutes then restart them and all is well. Routers get angry when you are beating the crap out of them with BT and peer to peer programs and anything else that requires it make a whole lot of connections.

Well, right now I am in Aventura, FL, in a huge building and there are like 100wireless netorks in range. Could that be it?

Other than that, I dont have anything but the laptop itself and the PC that is connected to a wired port of the router.

I just dont want to spend $60 and still have th same problems. I heard the linksys is he best/most reliable wireless router in the market.
