Durian

Has anyone ever eaten durian before?

Did you like it? Did you dislike it? Is the stench really as intense as they say?

Where can I find durian around here?
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.

Anthony Burgess once described it as like eating vanilla custard in a latrine.

Durian is awesome.

You might not like it the first few times, but practice makes perfect.
Or maybe you won't ever like it.

It smells really strongly.
And it doesn't taste quite like it smells, so don't judge it by that especially.

Find it in Chinatown or asian markets.
Fresh is much better (and more expensive) than frozen.
But it's harder to find.
