Ive seen the button for "importing observed hands", but what do you mean this:

add your main party poker directory (not the hand history folder) as the observed information are stored there. and just let it continue to import.

Party stores hand histories from your play in a subfolder, whereas if you're just observing, it stores them in some .hhf files in the main Party folder (in Program Files). PokerTracker needs to know the directory containing the .hhf files.
