Party Backgammon - anyone play?

Postby briachek » Mon Sep 11, 2006 4:39 pm

I got an email from party talking about partygammon offering a 25% deposit bonus. Now I enjoy playing backgammon and thought I could try it out but i've never played for money, just the internet backgammon that comes with windows.

Does anyone know how the betting works? I played a play money game with $0.50 stakes with a limit of $2. What does that mean exactly? Every point i lose, i pay him $0.50 for a max of losing 4 points for $2 total?

the bonus is up to $100 in bonus and must wager 7x the bonus amount in 30 days. anyone know if this is easy to work off?

I tried out their software and found it lacking the smooothness of Gammmonempire (which has a bonus also) which I really like. I am a huge backgammon fan though I've only played for money in real life, you can play it for free online and people try to play properly waaaay more that play money poker.

I've heard a few people say party gammon is pretty soft though. Just don't play on Gamesgrid and probably Truemoneygames as they've linked themselves to hardcore backgammon players for years.
