I figured Im heads up vs a tight player. Maybe this flop missed him. I also liked that the flop was rainbow. I thought this was a good spot to try and take it down.

Was my bet too big? When Im called Im pretty much done with the hand unless I improve.

I think your play is pretty standard. You could bet a bit less on the flop, perhaps 60 cents though. The less you bet the better odds you give yourself. (but don't bet less than 50-60% of the pot usually and don't deviate your bets based on whether you hit or missed the flop)
