As expected, having the wife move in took up A LOT of time. The extracurricular stuff, has been fun, of course. But the endless shopping to make the house nicer has been an exercise in patience. Sadly, it has both taken away time from poker and BTP.

That being said, the house is much nicer for the effort.

Anyway, I've finally started playing at the 1000s (albeit with a half stack). I hope to have the BR to stay after the next few weeks (I'm still "on break").
Some other good news is that the wife and I are looking at some sweet jobs in CA, so I might be in a more normal time zone soon. I'll keep you updated.
In case you've ever wondered how in the hell anyone can get to 5000 posts, here are some samples of my best recent work:

That should do for a short lesson.
Of course, the copious amounts of posting I do in the top secret BTP porn forum also help my count, but that's really not something I can discuss.
One cool thing about BTP recently is that A LOT more players are moving up to high stakes. We've got some good players around here.
Anyway, by 6000 I hope to comfortable be at the 1000s full time. I also hope to be well on my way to finishing my dissertation. Oh yeah, I hope to be planning a move to CA, too.
Finally, although MVP beat us in our first HU league match, I still think he sucks, and I look forward to our rematch.
