Funny I sat at the table today and actually started to feel a little bored, got home today and realized I've played 13 of the last 15 days. I am going to play tommorrow but I am going to take 2 out of 3 days off Sat, Sun, Mon before I go back to Vegas for another poker trip.

MVP I hope you dont burn through your entire roll before Vegas too you donk, my bankroll is just getting healthy again, but I dont think I have the money to stake you and I into the $500 games.

Played another session at the Village club yesterday. First the NL game then 8/16 08. 0ne big hand playing no limit. I am the BB with the table has been very tight I raise to $25 expecting the whole table to fold, instead I get 3 callers. The flop comes , 2 of the 3 callers have $50 left and the other guy is a $200 stack. I lead $100 and both call. The guy to my left says "you ahead right now." Turn is a diamond and I know I'm fucked, river is another diamond and I turn over the nuts. The guy to my left spikes his cards and walks off, he had to have had the flush on the turn. The other guy had the same AK and I got really lucky to win the whole pot. + $126 at holdem

Then got to the 8/16 O8 game, the game was much tighter than I had rememembered for the first 30 min, then a couple of the rocks left and a couple of the regular iditos showed up. I actually didnt run particularly well but made a couple of good hands. I won the previous pot with 2 pair and its a kill to me. I have KK106 a pretty crappy hand. I check my option flop is AKJ, it 2nd to last postion and I bet to try to force the guy out behind me. Everyone calls. Turn is the 2nd low card, someone bets and I call along with 3 others. River hits my gut shot, I made a slight tactical error and thought the button would bet but he doesnt and I probably cost myself some money here.+ +277 at O8

Overall its been a nice little run, which is really nice because before the last week I have been running ice cold, hopefully this little winning streak continues.

Session #1 Day 1 MGM
Always nice to start off a trip with a little rush. I sit at the 1/2 game wating for the 2/5. Two big hands to start. First hand I get J I raise to $15 and get 2 calls. Flop is . I lead $20, button raises to $60, I smooth call. Turn is a black 3. I check, he bets $75, I push, he calls with . River pairs the 3.Next hand, I get K8o in the BB. Flop is KJ8 with 2 spades. I check, he bets $15 one player calls I raise to $60 and they both call. Turn is an 8, I check again MP pushs for $50 more, other player thinks about it folds, I call river bricks and dude turns over KJ for a nice suck out for me. They move me to the 2/5 game. A little bit of the same, one of the guys who bought in for $200 raises to
$20 atfer half the table calls,I call with , flop is J106, he bets $100 folds to me I push he calls with AA. The game died about midnight after the two table donks busted and left. +1003 6.5 Tues

Session #2 Day 1 Hooters
I had not idea this place even had a poker room but its actually a decent place to stay cheap and a good location with newly renevated rooms. The only game they spread is a 1/2 200 max so Adam and I sit down after a couple drinks. One crazy hand that still has me baffled. This drunk kid from England has been playing awfull the whole day and really seems to have no clue and he is hammered. He is UTG and I didnt even see
him look at his cards, he is BSing with his buddies who are sitting behind him, he is looking at them and yells I'm going all in as if he's talking to them. The floorman who is watching the game since its the only thing going on in the casino, tells him he is all in. He spends the next couple min argueing that he wasnt talking about his hand. The floor says its doesnt matter that he is all in. I look down at 99 and decide I have to call
since I'm a big fav against a random hand. I call $119, BB who is tight calls too. Flop is Q83 BB pushs I have to call. BB has AA the kid with his whole production had KK. I cant believe that in his drunken stupor he was able to pull this off. Total session -$178 2 Tues

Session #1 Day 2 MGM
Played a $60 STG waiting for the 2/5 game as usual with tournaments I ran decent early and then couldnt win a hand when I needed it. I ended up getting all in on my button with K8 and getting instacalled by AJ. River hit my K but also made villian broadway out in 4th, top 2 pay. The rest of the MGM session was not much better. I played 2/5 for about 90 min and won one hand. I got all in preflop with KK vs A9 turn is an A river is a 9. Total for session including STG - 286 in 2.5 hrs.

Session #2 day 2 Bellagio
This was a really fun game, one guy at the table was a total ass and things got entertaining to say the least. Hand 1 I raise QQ to $35 get 2 callers, flop is . Douchebag checks, I bet $75 douche calls. Turn is another ten. Check Check, river is , he bets $150. I fold and say nice catch, he looks at me and says "ship it." He spends the next couple hours insulting everyone at the table. He actually is a pretty good player but a total ass. Next hand vs douche this is my on really badly played hand for the trip. Douche has $1500 I have $1200 I have K9s from the BB flop is [10s] X. I bet $20 douche calls. Turn is , I bet $50, he raises to $125 I make the stupid decision to just call a try to check raise the river thinking that would be a better way to get his stack. River is an A, I bet he bitches and moans, calls me a lucky and a few other names and shows 98. I got tricky and it cost me. Next hand vs same guy. I raise to $45 with AA. He calls flop is J104 rainbow. He checks, I decide to get tricky and check behind, knowing he will bet and turn card. Turn is an A. He checks which surprised me, I
bet $60, he goes into hollywood mode and raises $100 on top. He has a couple of huge tells one of which is when he asked me if I hit my ace before he raised. I knew he had KQ and just called. River is an A. He leads $100, I raise to $500. He thinks for a while and calls. He says as he calls, "If you have a full house you are the luckiest man alive." I said "I dont have a full house, but I do have quads" and turned over AA. He hits the roof calls me all kinds of names. We spent the next 3 hrs going back and forth he called me every name under the sun. I mocked him repeatedly. Fun session and good results

Session #1 Day 3 Ventian
Short session. One big hand, I have 77 limp, flop is 997. BB bets $35, I call, button raises to $135, BB pushs, I repush, button calls all in. Button has 95, BB has Q9. Neither one hits their kicker and I get to bust two at the same time. Not a lot of skill in this hand but a nice shot, made about $500 in profit on this hand. These two left and the table donk left to catch a flight and the game died. + 628 2.5 Thurs

Session #2 Day 3 Wynn
Played 1/3 at the Wynn with MVP. I actually found a 10/20 omaha 8 game that I played at the begginning, the game was really good when I sat down. I played for about 30 min before 3 of the calling stations left the game and it died. I won one pot rivering trip 2's made $8 at omaha and spent $15 on a message. Moved to the 1/3 game that MVP was beating up on. One big hand against the wrong player. I limp 1010 flop is . MVP bets $15, I call, BB calls UTG check raises to $63. MVP folds. I knew this kid had 2 pair, I figured MVP had an A, which means the BB most likely had spades. I raise to $180, BB folds, Kid shows A6 and folds, he actually said he thought I had a set of aces. It sucks that I happened to make my bad hand vs the one weak tight player at the table. Wynn + 28 hrs 2 Thurs

Session #3 days 3
Back to the Venetian to meet up with Piers. Got into a rock tight 2/5 game. Only played one notable hand. I have 77 UTG. Flop is 765, I lead $15, BB min raises to $30. I call turn is a K. He bets $50, I call. River is a Q he bets $150. I fold face up, he looks pissed and flashs 89. No shit. Game was awfull so I we left to head back to Bellagio.Ventian - $70 hrs .75 Thurs


Session #4 day 3
Cold deck #2 this one really hurt. I am new to the game I post BB and gets flop is . I bet $25 2 callers Button raises to $75. I call so do the other 2. Turn is I check, check, $50 bet, call I raise to $200, UTG raises all in for $180 more. It fold back to me I have to call and he has ugly cold deck. This actually turned out to be a good session. I fought and clawed my way back. I flopped a straight with 98 and got all in vs a pair a flush draw and a bigger open ended draw and held. Got AA and got
payed off by AK. Made a nice bluff with a missed draw vs a rock. Final result of + $3 is as good as a big win 4.5 hrs Thurs

Session $1 Day 4
Venetian 2/5 game short session I was pretty burned out after 3 full days of poker. I got KK raise to $45 get called by the calling station. Flop is 996 I bet $50, get min raised by the moron to $100. I reraise to $200 more. He shows me a 6 like he is making a huge laydown and folds. Hand vs same guy I have in the BB flop is . I check and it checks around. Turn is . I bet $60 and the guy calls. I am sure he doesnt have an A by now. River is , I check he bets $60. I call he shows . He gets all pissy and calls me a donkey and a fish in the same sentace, quite funny since he is pissed about losing with Q high. Dead cards after that. +$395 3.75 hrs

God I can't wait to get to vegas.

After Vegas I took a couple days off of poker, went camping with some friends for labor day, got really hammered fun stuff.

Yesterday I went back to the local 5/5 that I had been killing. One of the weirdest days of cards in a while. I played 8/16 limit first since I was late getting on the 5/5 list. I won one big hand flopping a gutty and the nut flush draw and hitting my flush on the river. Up $86 at 8/16.

Next to the 1/3 NL game which was a new game. First hand I play I get KK, it gets raised to $20 and one caller. Both guys bought int for $100 so I just push. They both call, one has AK the other has AQ. Flop is AKX, the case A doesnt hit and I win and I get told by Mr AQ how lucky I am. Next hand I have . I call a $20 raise. Flop is . Villian bets $35, I push all in for $150. He thinks for a while and calls with Tens with no spade. He hits his non spade ten on the turn and I dont improve. After a rash of them last year ending with 5 one outters that is only my 2nd this year. Last hand at 1/3 I look down at AA. I raise to $25 and get 4 callers. Flop is 886, I decied my best option is just to push. I get called by 22 who doesnt improve and I win a $300 pot. At 1/3 +$220

Onto the 5/5 game and this is where it gets crazy. First hand I play I call a $30 raise with AK. Flop top 2 and run into running hearts, villian has AQ with no heart and I win a decent pot. Next hand, the whole table has been straddling so I do also. UTG+ decides to make it a dead $20 without looking. MP raises to $65 and 2 ohers call. I look down at . I push with that much dead money in the pot, I am ok to just win the pot now. The original raisor thinks about it and calls. Flop is and villian turns over for the flopped flush, board doesnt pair on the turn and I'm drawing stone dead. Next hand I am in the BB with . It gets raised to $15 and I call in a 5 way pot. Flop us Q63 with one spade. Checks around, on the turn. I check since I see one of the idiots pick up chips. I raise to $160, he calls. Turn is a ten, I decied the pot is big enough and check, figuring I will call a bet, he checks behind and angryily shows KQ. Then the money hand for the day and one of the few times I get to get lucky in a hand. One of the players that I really have control over raises to $20. I call from the button with . I know this is not a usually good play but I have been very sucessfull outplaying this guy in the past. Flop is . He makes a weak lead of $35 which usually means he missed, player in the middle calls I call too. Turn is it checks to me. I bet $150, he pushs for $400, player in the middle folds, I am priced in and call. He has , river is a J and I get lucky.

Overall in the 5/r game I ended up + 205 but it really could have and should have been a lot more, that AA hand hurt, I also called off a ton of money with PP's and couldnt hit a hand. I made a couple nice laydowns twice with over pairs with 1010 and JJ when I was up against bigger pairs.
