I'm working on a $150 bonus on Tribeca and was wondering if I'm miscalculating how action points work. BW's says it's 125 points for every dollar I contribute to the rake...So I need a total of 18,750 points.

Looking at my PT stats it says I've paid $123 in rake so far (shouldn't that equal 15,355 points?)

It's showing I still have about 7K points to clear.

If I get 125 points for every dollar I contribute to the rake wouldn't it be:

123 x 125 action points = 15375 action points

Then I'd subtract that number from the total points needed.....18750 - 15355 = 3395 points left to clear?

You CANNOT trust PT...there's what you're missing. PT isn't ever precisely correct.

ALSO...APs aren't = rake %, they're prorated for who's doing the betting...to reward agro players...

I took on a 45000 point clearing task. I played the first half of it 4 tabling full ring (can only have 4 tables on these sites, sigh, had to play pokerroom on the side) playing tight. The clearance rate was insufferable.

I'm clearing the second half of it playing ultra loose 6max, and its clearing mega fast. I had been grinding out full ring for so long I forgot how fun it can be. Nothing beats your huge river bluff getting called, and the caller mucking his hand..
