You can count it as a good fold. And since around here we're all way too professional and no-nonsense in our poker playing to be playing "what-if" games, that's all you can count it for.

Swipe... that definitely blows... if you're a good poker player (which I'm not...), you're probably gonna fold more great hands than you play, unfortunately... I may have you one worse, though...

Last time I was in Atlantic City, last hand before I'm gonna leave... get dealt 22, figure "what the hell, I'll play for $2" (1/2 NL)... jackass to the left of me, who I was friendly with, raises it to $12... I insta fold... So, of course the flop was J22... Instantly, 4 people go allin... I'm trying to keep from crying as the first flips KK, the second AA, an AJ, and an KJ, I think... it was a nice $800 pot that I was kicking myself all the way home for not calling...

Back when I was first learning, I was super tight and folded suited connectors. I had 67s in mp and folded for $.50 big blind after a couple limpers. Everyone else calls. Of course I flop the 45 of my suit and the 8 on the turn while pretty much everyone was throwing money at this pot. I would have bankrupted 3 of the 6 other people playing.

Of course that chit happens! Read the "What if" comic book series and leave the 'what'ifs' at the poker table alone.
