Golfing with Phil Ivey

Postby Xaston » Fri Aug 04, 2006 12:09 am

Listening to the two latest episodes of the circuit, enjoying golf, and watching Phil Ivey on ESPN a year or two again golfing has led me to the following conclusion: I would like to go golfing with Phil Ivey. Two questions.

What is an accurate line for the over/under on how long it takes, from now, until I first go golfing with Mr. Ivey?

It should be noted that Phil loves golfing and betting on it as well. Furthermore, on the Aussie Millions Poker broadcast you see him and Kenna James talking. They talk about when Phil didn't know Kenna, and knew that he was a golf hustler, but would still play him for $3000 a hole. This means that Phil seems to be willing to golf without being too close a personal friend.

It should also be noted that I am the most talented poker player any of you have ever come in contact with (Palman and Mad Genius don't count). I will be a millionaire in not that long, and I will win a few bracelets before you know it. I will be living in LA or LV within the next 3 years.

Discuss.

Maybe he could use one of those plastic play toy golf sets from WalMart?

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Iceman,

I hope you don't take anything I say too seriously, It's obviously impossible for me to determine my level of poker "talent" (whatever that means) relative to that of anyone else you've ever come in contact with. I just like being a cocky 20 year old and whatnot.

I'm aware that the odds are obscenely stacked against me to be a multi-bracelet winner.

P.S. Sorry that I'm not a millionaire yet :-(.
