I got Alexed this weekend. Live in Lake Tahoe, 300NL, 2/3 blinds. I buy in for half stack, which covers most at the table. Table is loose and aggressive. I have been playing sLAG myself. I pick up AA UTG, and go for a limp re-raise. 3 callers, BB checks, so limp RR doeasn't work. Not to fear - flop is AQJr. Pot 15. I open for pot. One caller. Pot 45. Turn is 7, putting 2 spades on board. I lead for 45. My opponent instapushes. I cover by $8, it is $92 to call, which of course I do. He flips over KT, river bricks, and I immediately curse Alex's name. Because stuff like that used to only happen to him.

Still saturday.

I am in a mission to play 5 hours/day and Ii came back to finish my day. I played anpther two hours and made $42. Cleared $$22 in bonus.

Another disaster day that ended taking only a buy in from the roll.

Bad beats to the tune of $120 today.

I have to say that at some p[oint of my early session I cracked. I tilted a full buy in with QQ when a very standard player check raise me BIG when the flop came 559. I decided to call him standard no more when I saw his 53 in a 6xxBB preflop raised pot. He ven rivered the 3. UHG. I also did something similar but againts a shortie.

Wednesday July 26th.

Yesterday was OK. I cleared $28 in bonus and made $60 in about 2.5 hours or 1000 hands. Not great but OK.

Today was brutal. Here is how it went:


Hand 1.

I am dealt QQ in CO. MP min raises to $1, LP calls and I make it to $6. MP folds and LP calls. He has $20 more behind him.

FLOP. $11. 2. 8. 9. Rainbow. He bets $5 and I put him in. He instacalls with Ak and rivers the K.


Hand 2.

I am dealt 99 in MP. UTG raises to $3. He has $50 and I have mor than double stack. I call, CO calls and button calls.

FLOP. $$12. T . 9. 8. Rainbow. UTG bets $5. I make it to $20. CO calls, button pushes $29, UTG folds, I reraise to $58 to put CO all in. CO calls all in $58.

CO has QJ and button has 78. i DONT IMPROVE.


Hand 3.

I am dealt 44 in the LP. MP raises to $3. He has $114 and I have $60. MP2 calls with $50. I call.

FLOP. $10. 5. 4. 2. Rainbow. MP bets $7., MP2 calls, I raise to $25. MP calls and MP2calls all in $46 I push my remaining stack, MP calls.

Turn. A shitload of money. Q.

River. 7.

MP has KK.
MP2 has 77. LMAO.

Note: On my last 7 sets of fours, I have lost more than 7 buy ins, and have lost 6 out of 7 pots. What are the odds of that?



Hand 4.

I am dealt KK in the SB. It's folded to the button who limps, i raise to $3.5, BB folds and button makes it to $7. I reraised to $30. He thinks for a while and pushed. I called.

BOARD. Q high.

He has AA and takes my good $60+.



Hand 5.

I am dealt KK and i am OTB. oNE LIMPER to MP who min raised to $1. It was folded to me and i make it to $5. Folded to MP and he min raised again. I pushed $55 and he called with AA.


Hand 6.

I am dealt QQ in LP and I raise to $2.5 after two limmpers. One with $25 calls.

FLOP. $6.5 J. 2. 3. rainbow. He leades into me with $3. I raised to $10. He called.

TURN. $26. 9. He checks. I bet $12. He calls.

River $50. A. He flips over AJ.



Hand 7.

I am dealt

AK in LP. Three limpers to me and I raise to 3. CO and button call and everybody else folded.

FLOP. $10. AKQ. Rainbow. I lead with $7. Both calls. Both players have about $17 more.

TURN. 3s. I bet $17 to put both players all in, only Button calls.

River. $$$$$$$$$$$ 5s. He flips over 97s. OMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFG!!!!
