I am in the BB and am up a little bit. I had like $30 and was the big stack at the table. The table had recently cleared out and a bunch of half stacks bought in. - I lick my chops at this point.

So, I got the second nut flush draw, with a gut shot and a pair. Curious to find out where I'm at (I know I'm not ahead, but I don't figure to be that bad either) and build the pot if I hit, I bet the pot after the SB checks. It was like $1.25 bet. I get a fold and MP pots it to $5 of his around $18 stack. Folds around to the button and he repots it for $17.50.

The button didnt get his whole stack in but at least 3/4 of his right around $24 stack was in. He was committed and I don't see MP going away after his potted bet. I have only committed a very small amount to this pot, but I seem to have a lot of outs but a lot of cards that make me drawing dead too.

Easy fold?

Super-easy fold. You only have 3 nut outs. With that action it's not unlikely someone has a set, and someone could well have the nut flush draw and/or a wrap. It's extremely easy for you to be dominated against two players.

Against 5 players I prefer checking the flop. I don't think you're being honest with yourself with that "to find out where I am at" reasoning. You know where you're at, you've got middle pair and a draw, you're behind hoping to catch big, take the free card.

def fold on the flop. I would only bet that hand in that position possibly if only one player left to act behind me or two if they are REALLY weak tight. betting on an ace high board with 3 people to follow you is spew IMO. you will get called way too often and there are not many cards that will come that will make you feel good enough about your hand to want to continue betting. Check and revaluate when it gets back to you, usually a fold even to a pot bet, maybe a call if you have good implied odds, meaning he pays off flushes. with a bet and a call/raise, def fold.
