Most buoyant economy since the war, longest period free of recession since the 19th century, lowest unemployment in years, reasonable crime statistics, hugely increased public sector funding, increases in wealth, very successful record of international diplomacy and working relationship with europe, more money for the NHS, more money for schools, widespread changes in the way the country is governed, greater foreign influence than any PM in my lifetime,
er in case you didn't notice the Granita deal was that he left the economy to Brown. so that get rids of the ones in bold straight away (actually the stable economy is more a result of the London effect plus low interest rates (not set by the Govt) and Brown has stored up a lot of future trouble with his raid on our pensions and off balance sheet borrowings...
'reasonable crime statistics' - always is when the economy is doing ok...
working relationship with europe - er right - like the way they supported us over Iraq, the way he has taken us into the Euro and the way we are the only country to let the Poles come in and work?
widespread changes in the way the country is governed - you mean like a President? or the half-assed and kneejerk parliamentary reforms?
successful record of international diplomacy
greater foreign influence than any PM in my lifetime
ok now i KNOW you are ripping the piss - nh - you really had me going for a minute there
