i wondered if it would ever come to this. Having players sign wavers for their likeness is rediculous.

I would let them use my likeness if :
They paid my entry fees, and all related costs of attending an event:
AND
They paid me a salary on top of any prize money won.

With the player playing for their own money, and the WPT making big money on the advertising, this kind of greed just makes me sick to my stomach.

I wonder if Mike Sexton has an exclusion written in for him.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I agree with them..

It's like being Zidane sponsored by Adidas and the WK Would be sponsored by NIKE and he couldn't play because he then would appear in Nike commercials which Adidas doesn't allow.

MAybe i'm mistaken but that is what i understand from this reading.

they'll proobably just setlle anyway. i'm sure they could compromise this out without losing much money at all.

Actually we've had something simmilar to a Union here for a year or so now. Then again, we ARE socialists! :lol:
