LOL MVP... I was thinking something similar before i read your post.

"is a scourge on our society," these high and mighty scm of the earth are the scourge on 'our' society...and most Americans don't even know it...

"bonin"? lol

i think i saw a corrupt politician or 2 at the Old West saloon in CR...cheap bastards...they tried to pay only $40...lol

...and they vote themselves exempt from paying Social Security...and want to be called "honorable".

Kent...i doubt it'll happen to online poker...the big poker owners will offer the sleazy honorables a piece of the pie, and they'll go for it like a hog to slop. . . we'll see...always follow the money.

"I doubt it will happen" -- it's halfway to happening already. Just the Senate to go. Bush hasn't yet vetoed a single bill and this certainly won't be the first one he picks.

I'm just about in panic mode here. :(

I withdrew a good amount of my measly roll just in case. Anyone got a time frame on these sorts of things? IE, when the senate will vote, when bush will pass the bill, and how long from then until any of this was to get enforced?

And I think it probably will pass. Most of the politicians are probably already on the take from live casinos. Being on the take from both would just be wrong
Partake in my bollocks, bloody chav!

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

They'll just figure some new way around it. Party apparently lets you buy in with pre-paid phone cards now (which you can conveniently buy with your credit card), and I'm sure they'll come up with other ways if this gets through the Senate.
