Man.
The minor poker funk continues. Went out to a B&M with emmasmom on Monday night. We only played a few hours, and at 3/6 LHE there is a $4 rake pre-flop 9 handed, so I am pretty sure that it is not possible to beat the rake long term except that the players there are horrid. We each lost a rack. My rack was lost mostly due to failure to hit open enders against a field. (A 9 handed game usually meant at least 7 players were going to see a flop). emmasmom lost most of her rack in rather spectacular fashion. She is dealt two black 10s. Raises in UTG+1 after UTG limps, in an impossible attempt to thin the field. Three callers to the flop.

Last night after we got home I fired up some nl50 tables at prima and ended up down $16. This was all due to a blind v. blind battle that cost me $30 against a relative shortie. I am in small blind with AQs (converter not working). I raise to $2. BB calls. Flop
