I won't get into why or whose fault it is, but I am curious as to how a company the size of Dell, can't ship a product like a laptop the same day or next day regardless of the class of shipping chosen. Anybody here work for Dell and can answer this for me? I would understand if it was a small company that only does drop shipments, but c'mon, Dell doesn't have a warehouse full of these things? And maybe a flunkie or two to make any upgrade changes and do it within a day or two? Sheesh!

That was my thoughts, seb. I mean the only upgrade I made was more ram (MORE RAMES!!!!). It's not like I completely rebuilt a computer. I guess it's my fault for making that assumption. But jeezus! Over a week before the SHIP DATE?? Even assuming that they don't work on weekends, that's a HELLA LONG TIME to put some parts together and install windows. Pretty crap-tastic, though. I guess I get me a two week break from poker

Anyone got any suggestions on what to do for 2 weeks in a hotel? I'm gonna jam with my grand-dad the day I get there, have a family reunion (first time I've met most of them so family union I suppose) on the fourth, and then a wedding like the 9th or some crap.

So this thread is now: Reccomend me some movies, books, maybe even PS2 games I could rent. I'm gonna be bored outta my mind.
