Table has been somewhat tight - no one left has really gotten out of line based on what I've seen. Also, I've gotten lucky and have doubled up a couple of times earlier in the tourney off of SB.

Should have pushed all-in in the first place - you don't even have 8x BB.

What worries me most is BB calling afterwards, knowing he likely will have to fight his hand multi-way. But the pot is huge and all you have to do is beat BB to place 3rd. And of course winning it would put yourself in GREAT position to get first.

I'll have to think it over a little more. This is one of those reasons you just push all-in with the tens. The pot odds will be too huge to pass up if you raise less and are then put all-in. And if you fold and BB doubles up, you're in TERRIBLE shape.

So again, just push all-in pre-flop here.

I agree EP about pushing in pre-flop. What if I had, say 5,000 in chips (and say the button who wasn't in the hand and SB had about 1,000 less each)? I really don't see folding this 4-handed.
