the biggest upset ever in the WC

hardly - USA are ranked above Italy in the Fifa rankings

now Sweden v England n ot being a draw - that would be an upset :)

I agree with the second red card against the US. The first one was yellow all the way. The fvcking ref let worse tackles go in the second half with no penalty. Total BS.

His studs MIGHT have been up, but it was not a particularly violent tackle and the same tackle has been called yellow throughout the tourney. If that tackle gets an immediate red, we'd have had games playing 8 on 7.

The US actually came to play and dominated the first half. They need some serious work on finishing, obviously. Italy didn't seem to take the match very seriously.

Shame the ref had to ruin the game.

If the US had beaten Italy it would have been the second greatest win in US soccer history.
