An excellent start to the day as I just pummelled the 3-6 limit donks in an early morning carnage. Nothing like some good old fashion asswhipping on fools to recharge the poker battery.

Well went out for some live action poker tonight and only one game was going a 5, 5 PL holdem game which is equivalent to a 2.50 or so blind. My god the players were HORRIBLE. That said I spent nearly all of the 6 hours we played tossing my cards in the muck. I think I won 3 pots in 6 hours if you want to know exactly how card dead I was. They were charging 20 Bs per half hour which is pretty exhorbitant but with that crew I think that is easily overcome. The first hand that I am involved in I limp with AJ in EP and 5 or 6 others come along and the flop is A82 and a young kid who was pretty tight fired a pot bet from the blind and I called and the big maniac at the table potted it and the initial guy calls and I muck. Young guy checks the turn which pairs the 8 and maniac pots it all in and young guy calls with A10, river K and maniac shows 34o for nut low and that was just about routine for the night. People paying off big bets with 3rd and 4th pairs, gladly putting in pot sized calls on the turn hoping to hit that flush. All I can say is that when I hit some hands it ain't going to be a pretty site for those cats. So with the time charges and and blinds I bled away 385,000 Bs for the night which is about 150.00 US or so which given the hands I got tonight was just unavoidable. I will definately be spending quite a bit more time in the evenings there.

Went back for some live action tonight and we played 5-6 handed PL 5,5 for 4 hours and I managed to pick up 335K Bs which pretty much cancels my loss from last night. They also agreed to cut the time charge in half to 10K Bs which is close to reasonable and much better than anything else going here but I doubt they keep it that way when the games are full again. I played extremely well and managed to avoid a couple of big traps when I had TPTK which always makes me feel pretty nice to get away with the minimum loss on those hands. My biggest hand of the night I got to bust the guy that I have tried to help play better but I don't think many of my lessons sink in. I limped UTG with and the 3 players behind me limped as well so we saw a family pot of 6 players. The flop came down . My failed student makes a pot bet and I call as do 3 others so we see the turn 5 handed with comes . Now instead of checking and folding with his 2 pair he bets pot again and I repot him and both guys behind me call going all in for quite a bit less than my bet and my failed student calls my repot for another big chunk of my bet all in as well. I am just praying for a big black card but the board pairs the 4 on the river but luckily noone boated up. i got a pretty good side pot and split the main pot with one other guy.

Well one hour of frustration in the books this morning. Nothing like getting in alot of bets with 2 pair against a gut shot in a HU battle and him rivering his 4 outer. Also had a nice beauty that I don't have the HH yet but I think I can remember. I raise from UTG with [Qc] and only the BB calls, flop . I get CR on the flop and I three bet as I knew the fucker didn't have anything. Turn is a he checks I bet and the river is a . He checks and I check behind and he has [5s] for the river 3 outer gutty straight. The folks at WPEX cold call my EP raises and three bets with astounding regularity with what I will loosely term very speculative hands and when that is happening I can't complain too much. Was down about 150.00 from right out of the gate but managed a couple of very nice hands to finish up with a huge profit .


Some more live action tonight. Started 6 handed in the 5,5PL game with a 10 Bs half hour charge and when another player showed up they wanted to take 20 Bs per half hour and I got my chips and just said I wasn't going to be raped like that and the management quickly decided to leave the time at 10 Bs. That is a reasonable charge that I can deal with but at 20 Bs. I will just forego the social outing and head back to my computer screen. Played close to 4 hours tonight and was only involved in really one big hand where I limped UTG after a straddle for 10 Bs, 5 others limped behind
and the straddler (the maniac from 2 nights ago) cranked it up 70 Bs. I knew he was full of BS so I repotted to 140 Bs (in this game you can only raise the amount in the pot not including your call previous to the raise). All fold to him and he repots to 280 and I repot and he calls and goes the rest of the way in and shows down [10s]. Flop all low with 2 hearts, turn and river hearts as well and I take down a 1.2 million Bs pot or so. He rebought for another 500K and managed to get that all in on a A Q x board with a Q rag against a friend of mine with an A. He then rebought for 1 million Bs and lost that with the round with another fool move. A very nice game when you have one fool creating action like that and the other 9 guys at the table are about as easy to read as 2nd grade primers.

Nearly got the old month back in the black again.

Perhaps the best part of last night was when a pretty tight player raised on the button to 20 Bs and I had in the small blind and mucked my hand and it accidently flipped over. The looks of horror on the players at the table was amusing. The maniac of course repotted and the tight player got it all in. Maniac had QJo and the tight player had AK and the flop was all low and he took it down with AK high
