This is one of the oddest threads I've read in awhile. I am not a hippie but I don’t really understand hating them. Sure some hippies are vegan and some are obnoxious about other people eating meat but that is a major minority. This is close to me saying I hate all conservatives because Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'reilly are ignorant and hypocritical. Living in California I know a lot of hippies and they are usually the nicest, most easy going people around. Hating people who's theory to life is peace and love really makes no sense to me.
