Stelvask, I was in the Army. I was a Specialist which is equal to a Corporal (one ramk beloew a Sergeant). The stuff I can talk about isnt interesting enough to talk about.

I didnt pitch against the actual Mario Mendoza (not that I know of). I just meant that I couldnt get anyone out. I was still throwing with great control. I just couldnt throw any harder than I did when I was 10. I was striking everyone out when I was 10, but now they were all hitting the ball. I was still pretty damned good at baseball though. I attended an open try out for the Rangers at 19 and was offered a contract to play instructional league ball which I turned down (big mistake). I also played on a traveling Army softball team that traveled throught Europe.

AllStar, Survivor is my favorite show. Rob is my all time favorite survivor. The dude rocks. He reminds me exactly of my best friend from the Army.

I'm a huge survivor/amazing race fan -- those are actually two of the three shows that my wife and I will both watch, which is probably why I'm a fan. Hope you make it on. Amazing race is my 10 year old's favorite show. I've always wondered what would happen if you threatened to physically harm another competitor, but in a subtle, really scary way. I think you should give it a try.
