I forgot to post my last session before today so here goes. Wednesday I played the 2/3 NL at Oceans 11. I also agreed to stake one of my friends to play in the same game. No not Mitch for those of you that know him.

I actually won though I misplayed the crap out of two hands.

Hand 1: Villian is an overagressive loose player who starts with $110. I cover. I have A10 on the button flop is A103 all clubs. He checks, I lead out $35 into a $30 pot. He min raises to $60 which should have been my clue but I really thought he had an A and a flush draw so I put him in for his last $50 and he turns over j6c from UTG.

Hand 2: I call a small PFR with 1010 flop is A109. I check call on the flop, check raise after a 3 hits on the turn and take a stack from A7o

Hand 3: I have KJd on the button. Flop is KJ6 rainbow. BB bets out $15. I am going to raise but the donk behind me starts stacking chips. Same guy from hand 1. He raises to $35. Bettor folds, I raise to $100 and he shows a king and folds. I really should have slow played it one time and let him pot commit himself on the turn, and than raise.

Overall I was +145 in 3 hrs of play, my friend played well but ended down $245 after a couple bad suckouts.

I got a little behind on my journal so a quick catch up. Saturday, I played a home game tourney. 50 players, I made it to the final 25 and then donked off my money to a calling station who couldnt fold top pair with a kicker that didnt play. I am so good at finding the best calling stations to bluff. Down $100

We played a 4 game mixed cash game after that. I built up a nice stack and than this fun PLO hand. Villians starts with $250, I cover. Villian raises to $7, I call with . 2 callers in the pot. Flop is . Villian pots, I repot. He calls leaving him about $80. Turn is the . He pushs all in, fuck me. I knew he had AA or KK, now I'm pretty sure he has AA, but I have to call $80 to win $500 and with 9 outs I am getting odds. It is worse than I thought this moron has A A killing 2 of my Oesd outs. River makes his flush, the tourney pretty much sucked ass, but I am going to show up for the cash game from now on.
I staked one of my buddies into the game and he made $150 so he made me $75, I lost $30 to +45 overall.

Rough day for me at the Lucky Lady. Other than the last hand I played really well today, though I need to make sure I avoid FPS. At a game I have been killing I get the urge to call everything becuase I know how easy it is to outplay these guys, this got me stuck in a pot I would normallly not have played.

Hand 1: I have AA on the button, raised to $30, 4 callers. I bump to $130 and still get 2 callers. Flop is J65. I bet $200 putting both remaining players all in. I get called by J7o, my hand holds up, good start to the day.

Hand 2: I am in EP with QQ. I raise to $30, 1 caller and a player I have a lot of respect for raises to $100. One caller back to me. He has $1000 or so and I cover. I decied to just call, I'm pretty sure I'm behind. Flop is J high, I check he pushs and I fold face up. He told me later he had KK.

Hand 3: This hand was the turning point of my day. I raise to $35 from the blinds with AK. 2 players call.Flop is A108 rainbow. I check, Villian bets out $75, I CR to $200. He instantly pushs all in. I think for a while and fold. I ask him if he had A10 and he turns over A7o. I dont think I can call him there. I didnt think he really could be making a move, I thought I showed enough stregnth that he couldnt think he could bluff me off the hand.

Hand 4: Live straddle hand. I call from the Button with . BB raises to $40. 4 players call back to me and I decide to see a flop. Flop is . BB leads $80 and has $300 left. Folds to me, I push and he insta calls with AA. on the turn and bricks the river.

Hand 5: This is my one donkey hand for the day. I limp the button with A10. Flop is A104 rainbow. The only really good player in the game leads $40. I think about it and decide to slow play (dumbass). At the time I wanted to draw in another player. I knew that the bettor who was UTg was only going to give me action with a hand that beats me. 2 other players call, turn is the making 2 clubs on the board. Utg bets $60, I call. BB raises to $160. He is a really bad player and I'm praying he has K10. River is a small club. He checks and I check behind. He has QJ for the gutty draw. I played this hand really bad on the flop and turn.

Overall I was really card dead. I saw AA once, didnt make a set, trips, or a flush. I played really well up to the last hand. I think I played to long, I got tired at the end and it cost me. I think most players lose a lot of money on the QQ hand, so I'm quite happy with the way I played that one. Totals -$789 in 7.5 hrs.

Day 2 of card dead. I guess after the good run I was on it was due to catch up with some uglyness.

Started the day playing 8/16, before the 5/5 was up and running.

Hand 1: I raise from MP with AKs, it gets 3 bet. 2 other callers, I call. Flop is QJ10. Its bet by the prf and I raise. Two callers. Turn is the Q. Bet, raise and raise to me. I fold. I was up against QJ, Q10 and KK.

Hand 2: I think maybe I should have read MVPS advice before I played this one about never ever hitting a str8 flush draw. I am the button with [10d] flop is . A bet and a raise in front of me, I make it 3 bets, thinking that it might make the turn cheaper to see. BB cold calls 3 bets. Turn is a black 3. It goes check and bet, I just call. BB calls. River is . BB bets this time, MP 2 bets, I fold, BB 3 bets. MP calls. BB has J3o. MP has AK.

I played about 1.5 hrs of 8/16 and didnt win a hand. -$167


They finally start the 5/5 NL game and like yesterday I am totally card dead. In the end I chopped the blinds more times than I won pots. I saw AA once and got to chop with it in the BB.

Hand 1: I am the BB with k3o. Flop is K83 rainbow, I lead $30. UTG is the only caller. Turn is the a 2. I bet $100. UTG calls. River is an 8. I check and he checks. UTG turns over K6o and his freakin kicker plays.

Hand 2: I am in MP and the pot is straddled. I look down at KK. THe straddler has been raising every time he straddles, so I limp. Straddler checks. Flop is 765, ugg. I bet $35 which the straddler calls. Turn is a 4, dumbshit nearly creams his pants pushing all. fold.

Hand 3: I am UTG with QQ. I raise to $40 get 3 callers. Flop is 976 with 2 spades. I bet out $80, MP who is a moron calls. Button who is steaming pushs all in for $150. Stupid freakin bet if I bet $75 I can reraise and put the MP donkey to a decsion to call all in on his draw. I am forced to just call and so does donkey. Turn is an offsuit 8. I check doney pushs all in. I fold, donkey has 65o and hit his ass-end gutty. All in player had a flush draw.

Hand 4: I am the button with A9, I call flop is 99J. Checks to me I bet $30. Agro played from hand 2 calls. Turn is a . I bet $45. He calls again. River is a J he checks, I check. He has the all powerfull J7s.

Just an awfull overall day. Counterfitted pretty much every way possible. The only set I would have flopped I had to fold to a raise and reraise. Some days you are the bug, some days your the windshield. Today I was the bug for sure. For 5/5 NL -$499

Totals: -$666 in 8.5 hrs. Nothing like dropping $1400 in two days.

Ugh, Cap that AK preflop Dude. Its a monster. Those limit players sounded pretty good though, maybe when I go I should be playing NL instead.

I'm tired so I'm going to keep this really short so I make sure I have it in my records. I played 5/5 at the lucky lady today, Weird day of cards, flopped one set, didnt see any big pocket pairs. Won a $500 pot vs two donkeys with a pair of 6's. totals 4.5 hrs +$906

Variance still feels the need to kick me in the nuts. Winning with the best hand doesnt seem to be happening to much lately. Lucky Lady 5/5 game. Again no big pairs, its been a while since I saw AA or KK. Got almost no cards again, two big hands anf both ugly suckouts.

Hand 1: I have QJs mp. I limp, 5 players to the flop. Flop is K104 rainbow. I bet $25 on my draw and get called by the CO and Button. Button is a solid player, CO is a donkey. Turn is the a 9 giving me the nuts. I check, pretty much knowing one of them will bet it. CO bets $75. Button folds, I reraise to $200. He pushs all in for $150 more. I realyl thought we had the same hand. The river pairs the 9 and he turns over K9 for the rivered FH. Total pot is about $900

Hand 2: I am the CO with KJs. I limp, 6 or 7 to the flop. Flop is KJ2 with 2 spades. I bet $30, Button raises to $90. BB calls $90. I know he is on some kind of draw. I decide the safest play is to just push and not get to fancy. Button folds, BB calls for another $550. Turn is an river si the . Donkey turns over . Runner runner, nothing funner.

I took a little break, went outside and cool off, I came back in for a couple more hands.

Last hand: I have in the BB. I check. Flop is 3. I bet $20 UTG calls. Turn is the . I check and donkey checks. River is the , I lead $20. Donkey raiese to $220. I show the and fold. He turns over . And procedes to tell me that he knew I was on a draw because I was tilting. I wanted to punch him. This was clue enough that it was time for me to go home before I really did something dumb out of frusteration.

Another day at the Lucky Lady, I got to the game late and ended up playing some 1/3 NL before I got into the 5/5 game. I moved into the 5/5 game up about $70 after winning a pot with QQ vs a shortie who had 910 and made a pair.

A little frusterating early.

Hand 1: I get QQ in MP, it gets raised to to $40 in front of me and 1 caller. I reraise to $140 and get called. Flop is A57. Bet $200 into me and I fold.

Hand 2: BB is the same guy as in hand 1. I am the Co in a live straddle pot. I call with [10s]. BB who is a total maniac raises to $35. I call and so does the BB. Flop us . It checks to me and I check. Turn is a , giving me the open ended royal draw and a pair. Check to me again. I fire $100, BB check raises to $200. I call and the river bricks, he leads $300 and I fold. He shows 44 for a super slowplayed set.

I am now in the game game $800 and have $700 in front of me. I am the Button with . I call so does 5 others. Flop is 652. UTG bets $60, 1 caller. I raise to $200. UTG moves in and I call. I really didnt think he would have limped 43 utg. Turn is a J river is a 3 and he mucks his hand. I dont show mine and double up.

That was pretty much it for big hands. I really like the way I played today, I finally didnt have a day where I disliked my play in any one specific hand. I other than top 2 I really dint make any big hands but still made $770 in 4 hrs. Kind of makes up for the ass kicking on Friday.
